Me...Again. What a great race. After being shown the losers ticket and buying back in I was able to get everything working and pulled off another win. Didn't earn as many points but still had a great time.
This series needs to grow though. We have too many Vette owners in the Carolina's and Georgia to only get 15 drivers out to a race. For all you who live close by, I want to let you know that this is not for professional drivers. These wins came in only my 4th and 5th Bracket races. I guess I'm just lucky. But everyone with a Vette should come out and see what it's about. If for no other reason than to just get a little track time and see what your car can do without having to put up with a bunch of the big boys. Also remember with bracket racing it's not the fastest car that wins, so it doesn't matter how fast you car is. If you have any questions at all just ask me here or IM me or EMail me.

Come on guys, pick up the slack. At Englishtown NJ there was 80 cars for race #1. Like you, I am new (this was my first) but have found a new hobby for sure. Like you need a another reason to buy stuff for your baby . It's a great day out to meet a bunch of new and informative people. Pass the word for sure. Oh and by the way, I am 51, so age shouldn't be an excuse

No, age is no excuse! We have quite a few racers at ETown, myself included, that are past or closing in on 60 and having a ball. Sometimes we even show the youngsters a thing or two, right JP!
I went to the Ecklers national Corvette Challenge in SC last Feb and got hooked bad. I had been to the drag strip to run before for fun but had never new there was racing like this. To really work on you skills and have fun with a great group of guys was too much fun. So much that I contacted the organizers of the Fla and NJ races and with their help and the backing of great sponsors started a seiries of our own. I have had a great time putting this togeather and a great time racing. And not just because I've won. It's hard to explain the feeling you get to run in compitition but it sure gets your blood flowing. It is really a great time and we have a lot on owners in the area that need to come out and just have some fun. Thats all it is really about. Just having Fun with outher Vette Nuts

Congrats Joe, but I had a rule that Co-ordinators were only allowed one win per race season.
I yelled at Edgar all the time when he was on his winning streak
Boy are we havung fun!! Until this series came along I had only had my vette on the stripe one time. My Son loves Drag racing , being a father that should spend more time with his Son. I said O.K.. My Son , Scott has a 6spd , 97, and I have a a4, 99. I should beat him , but I'm too damn old. His r/t is much better than mine. Hey Guys, come join us. I am proof that you can be bad and still have fun. Les
