I had fun Seems though the track guys were busy cleaning up track mishaps. What kind of car hit the wall near the end of the night? I know he hit pretty hard but was unhurt which is good. I was in the burnout box when it happened and figured it was time to call it a night.
Got a lot of runs in test and tune though....overall a good outing.

Tom,
How did you and Rob do? I wanted to make it, but was stuck getting my jet ski and beach house ready for the summer.
Edgar.. you are sooooo right..
I'm waiting for a "Mackey, thats racing"..
but in all seriousness, I think its up to the track personell to make sure the right two cars are paired at the line as to whats in the computer..
If the computer shows a different pairing, THEY have to radio to the starter people to tell them something isn't right.
The track has to take SOME responsibility...
THEY make the pairings. THEY have 6 people in the tower and 4 people at the line & one under the bridge. IF the paired cars don't match whats IN the computer, THEY should NOT instruct the racers to move up & stage,..
The time slip showed a different car than mine. Technically I wasn't entered in the computer. The race should have been a rerun..
There was definitely a LACK of communication between the the tower & the starters.
Someone somewhere should have noticed that the #'s on the cars at the line was different than what was entered in the computer..
The track HAS to make sure at least the right two cars are lined up as to whats in the computer..
I am waiting for the next wierd thing to happen to me cause I know somewhere, sometime, its gonna...
If I could remember right, Tom was well into the 11's... 11.4 or so?
Also, I'm in agreement with Ellis regarding his situation. The only thing I can come up with is that the girl put in the wrong car number, went to change it, but accidentally messed up the dial in. She's pretty new at it so I assume she made a mistake and Raceway Park SHOULD HAVE given a rerun, and Ellis did what he could to try.
My best of the night was 11.60 with a 1.70 60' time.I May have had a around a 11.4 or so run going but hit the limiter on the 1 to 2 shift. Rob's best was an 11.1. Tried to line up several times for a ET shot but the lines got screwed up and I was either in front of Rob or Behind him in line so we never got to pair up. I was trying hard to get shut down or told to go slower but maybe next time. You guys should have come down it, would have been much better than your Wednesday night experience. Near the end of the night a Car bounced off the walls and thats when Rob and I called it a night.
