Default Rims for drag racing

SO when I finally burn off my Run Crap tires I am going to up grade.. I am also going to go with a different RIM. either Z06 or C6 replica rims..

I was wnondering if there are any cheap wheels to use for DR's.. I was going to keep my stock C5 wheels but Bob will give me 500 in trade on them for my new wheels.. so I was wondering if anyone makes a drag rim that I can mount my DR's on or should I just keep the rear rims and sell the front...

I have been doing the same thing. First I started out looking for Z06 front rims which I was told would do a great job. I saw the price and was not exactly sure I wanted to buy into DR that much just yet so then I was given an alternative - wagon wheels from a 1998 would work. I looked around and they are a great entry level wheel that can support your DRs and the cost low. Granted they dont look great (with my front chromes), but heck they are better than running on street tires.

Most guys use stock take off for drag radiasl so if you sell yours then you will be looking for another pair. You might be better off keeping yours that way you have a full stock set if you sell your car and need stockers to put back on it.

On the other hand, you might be able to sell your locally for the same money and save shipping to bob
