I love my UT '78 Pace Car, but I am now SERIOUSLY considering throwing mine on eBay. $163 for this diecast is insane. I thought my bid in the $90-$95 range was way too high. I only paid $40 for my first one a couple years ago. The one I have is brand new, never removed from it's mint box. Now, I'm thinking of putting it in a lead trunk to protect it since their value has skyrocketed.
You and me both. I want a second one so badly, but since it will be my second, I can't justify spending $100+ on it. Just doesn't make sense since I already have one. I guess I'll just have to wait and pray for AA to make a Millennium version of it.
It seems like AA is taking a long time to put out the Millennium versions of the '78 SA and '82 CE, so I wish they'd announce a reissue of the '78 PC so we can have it in a year. They'd have to be crazy not to reissue it.
