I don't think they are as good as a Maisto which is a few bucks less money.I don't think I'll be adding any Ertl C-5's to my collection. I see the second dealer has a Ko-Motion 67 also for sale!!!

If I find one cheap, like in a year, at K-B toys for 9.99....those always make good parts cars.

Boy, the details look pretty crummy--even in the small eBay photos. The only reason I wanted one was because it was the only "real" 2003 model of the EB Z06.

Anyone who wants one now can pick one up for just $42.99 at towerhobbies.com.

I'm not crazy about them either. However, I'm looking for a 2003 Z06 "something" that I can paint black like my 1:1. Any other suggestions?

Please don't get me started about the crap that Ertl puts on the shelves. I loath that company. They have the ability to put good products out, but they just choose not to. Case in point, their Precision 100 Line diecasts are OUTSTANDING, but their Ertl RC stuff isn't worth the materials they're made of.

Maisto makes a Black ZO6 Already.I Have seen them all over the place like Walmart,Sam's,and other low end retailers.

Also.. the ertl ZO6 is not correct in the fact the ZO6 Commertive Edition has The stripes on the hood and the non ZO6 coupe and convertibles do not. and they are only availible with the shale interior. I'll wait to see what Auto Art comes up with on the 2004 models as They did an excellent job on the 50th anniversary ed.

Oh I see Ertl is calling this a 2003 so that's suppose to be Electron Blue, Looks closer to the 2004 Lemans Blue in color.

Yeah, but I need a 2003 (or I have to "jack" a '03 50th hood and read deck emblem from something else) to match my 1:1.

Unless you like to collect every 1/18 Vette, don't waste your money on this one. I finally saw one in person at a hobby shop, and it's pretty sorry looking. Ertl has taken a roundabout way to admit that the door mirrors break/fall off easily by shipping them with the mirrors removed, to be attached by the buyer. It's pretty sad that they won't even take the time to fix the problem by reinforcing the mirrors somehow.

I bought one today and you're right......I've seen better. Still wanted to add a EB Z06 to the collection. :yesnod:

Too bad Auto Art cancelled their version......or did they. I've heard conflicting reports

Not to stray from the topic, but I was thinking of getting a Ertl '63 splitty coupe. Are these models any good?
