I've been waiting for this diecast, along with a few of the other AutoArt Millennium Corvettes. Are they available now? Have been waiting for the '53, '82, and the Mako Shark. I think that's all of 'em.

Question for those of you who are familiar with the '53. I haven't seen to many of these in person, but shouldn't the front end of the hood open inside of the engine bay as opposed to opening up and over the front of the car? Just wondering. If that's incorrect, it doesn't take much away from the diecast.

AutoArt concentrates mostly on 1:18th. They have also released some 1:43rds recently, but 1:18th is their focus. The '53 will be 1:18th.

You're probably right, but I believe the '53 is in there Millennium line, which they tout as much more accurate.

The more I looked at the AutoArt hood, the more I think it's right. I found a so-so pic of a 55 that tends to confirm it. Don't know why I ever would have doubted AA :crazy:

I agree that they look awesome, and thanks for the links! I just think those prices are way too high though. I have a source I can buy through for a fraction of the price. I'd be upset if this guy I buy from charges me 1 red cent over $50 for any of these. He's never charged me more than $50 for an AA Millennium diecast. Since I buy so much from him, he always gives me great prices. No shipping charge either since I just go and pick it up. It will just take me a few weeks longer to get them since he doesn't have them in yet. I can wait. Thanks again!
