That's pretty cool. I wonder how they managed to get the 12th car of each production run. The odds of that are astronomical. They must know someone at Ertl or something.

I don't recall ever seeing one of these cars. Are the new?

:skep: I thought these Chrome cars where for only one company. Couldn't be too hard to assemble any set of numbers given that info.....Guess we'll know a day or two after "this" auction. Why #12 though??? :skep:

I just checked out the diecastdeals website. The cars are listed for $55 each. There is also a note that if you buy all five they will match up numbers for you. My guess on why #12 is on ebay is that the 1-11 are all set aside for someones collection already.
