That poor Pace Car. Don't get me wrong... excellent work without a doubt, but I'm a big fan of '78 PC. Well, at least you didn't build a hybrid by merging the front end of the Pace Car with the back end of a Cadillac Eldorado, like I see on eBay once in a while in the auto sales section. ;)
Nice work though my friend. I'm actually more impressed with the job you did on the truck than on the car. The Pace Car paint job is not an easy one to replicate in my opinion, and you took it and applied it to a truck. "Impressive... most impressive."
Thanks for all the kind words on my mods and projects. The majority of the work I do is on Vettes, and it's great to have a venue like this to present them. As for this one, the pace car had a few scratches in it, and it wasn't really suitable for resale, so it was a perfect candidate for this project. I've been wanting to do this set for some time, but with the $100+ prices of the pace cars, I had to wait for either a "steal" or a slighly distressed one to come around.
In case anyone's wondering why I show my pics through links to the Diecast Pub board, it's because that board is set up for direct posting of pics from a PC without a hosting site. I haven't been able to find a hosting site that works well with this board. Any leads would be appreciated.
Thanks again guys!

You read my mind. Have been wondering that for a while.
I know that if you can get a Corvetteforum home page, you can post pics there, and it works great. I'm not sure if they're still allowing any new home pages. A while back they suspended giving out any new ones I think because they were running out of server space. Anyway, my Corvetteforum home page was the only one I could post to that was reliable in showing the pictures without that dang red X popping all the time. I always keep a link to my home page in my signature.
I've had good luck with http://www.picturejudge.com. It's a photography site that is setup for amatuer photographers to submit their photos to be judged by their peers. They don't mind if another website is linked to the hosted pictures (which is rare), they don't seem to periodically delete old pictures (my sig photo has been there for over a year now), and best of all, its free.
I've even got some nice scores on some of my posted pictures which is amusing. They do seem to get confused from time to time when I temporarily post something like the under carriage, or some other close up of some particular part to support a posting here... Check 'em out, might be what you're looking for.
7VETTE, do you do the mods to 1/24 or 1/18. If you would like, I can donate to you a 1/18 '57 that has a cracked windshield foryou to modify. You do some really awesome work.
