That sucks. Well, you can mod it to be a vert now, or take a top off another Z06 and try to match the paint.

Get a roof from a donor Z06 and repaint the whole thing. I painted one red just to cover up the hideous colors of the original. I know it's a replica of a 1:1, but I put it close to the Ertl blue/red '54 and Burago yellow/red '57 as the ugliest diecast Vettes made so far. The Guldstrand ground effects are cool, the hood is way cool, but the colors suck.

They have been showing up in some stores so I expect you could find another for less than $15 so just replace it and use the wheels to modify something. I personally like the paint job and the color!

I like the colors and the ground effect. But, as stated, just replace it and use the wheels to mod another car. I am thinking, paint the lattice black, but leave the outside rim gold, or make it silver. :yesnod:

The wheels are great for repainting. The outer rim is chrome, so it still looks good if you paint the lattice work black, silver, etc. Maisto did do a very good tooling job on the wheels.
