1958 Corvette at Walmart

There is a 1/18 '58 at Walmart. The car does not look bad but the windshield looks too small or short. Anyone know who makes this diecast ?

My daughter gave me a '58 Corvette that she bought at WalMart, so it may be the same one you are referring to. It is turquoise with silver coves and two silver stripes. I foolishly discarded the box and there are no identifying marks on the stand. I'll have to get my fine phillips screwdriver to take it off the stand to see if there is anything on the underside of the car.

I can say that it seems to be reasonable quality for a relatively inexpensive model. It doesn't have the same amount of detail as the two Auto Art models that I bought subsequently. But they were quite a bit more expensive than the ones at WalMart.

It is made by a company called Motormax. They are not a high detail company. Unfortunately this is the only 1/18 of a 58.

There is a cool 1:12 scale '58 made by Solido if you're into really big models. The engine compartment is weak, but the rest looks good.
