Default How to remove wheels???

This may be a stupid question, but how do you remove the wheels from a 1/18 scale model...like an Ertl? I want to switch wheels between two Ertl models and I don't really want to break anything trying to get the wheels off the cars. Thanks in advance.

I turn the car over, and put a pair of needle-nose pliers behind the wheel, one "needle" on each side, and gently push outward. The wheel should just pop off. You can also use two screwdrivers, but I find the pliers easier to handle.

On some brands like UT...it's actually easier to swap the entire wheel/suspension assembly which requires removing the body, but it's no big deal. ;)

Like Alchemist said, it is only 4 screws on the UT models, takes less than 2 minutes.

Thanks for the advice. That is exactly what I did and it was quite easy.
