Default 2002 Radio Shack Corvette C5-R

This was one of my favorite Radio Shack RC toys of all time. I first spot it at my local Radio Shack in 2003. Usually I do not buy anything from Radio Shack, as far as toys goes. But the corvette C5-r was too good to pass up. Anyway, I bought the car and stored it away without ever opening it. It was that way for 6 years until I gave it away.

I felt so stupid for doing that.

Anyway, are there any members here who has this rare toy, as well as any ads that had the car for the 2002 holiday season.

Here is a few pictures of the car:

Yeah. That's the one.

There are so had to find NIB.

By the way, what's the car's frequency? 27mhz or 49mhz? I just found out that the 49mhz is very rare as it has the red tip on the controller and the car's receiver tip.

Back in 2003, I never noticed the difference between 27mhz and 49mhz as I thought that they were all the same. Now I know better. The car I have is 27mhz with the Yellow Tip attached.

Whatever you do, don't sell it because you'll regret it later.

Your not kidding, they are hard to find. I bought one back in January that had been listed on Ebay for quite awhile. I figured what the hell, it was $19.95 plus shipping but, the catch was the box is less than ideal condition, and the steering for the car goes to the right and doesn't come back. Interesting to know that there are frequency differences, the one I acquired has the red tips, not that it means much there are flaws with this one. It wasn't taken care of, that's for sure.

Hope you find another one, I'm still looking for a good one too.

Anyone still looking for this car in about as close to perfection as your going to get with packaging in great shape after 14 years since it's release. Have at it...

I guess you don't want to sell the Mr Goran. Over a week and not even the courtesy of a reply.
