Surveys Says: Leave at least One Corvette Unrestored
Remember that Autoweek poll that gauged whether people think the Corvettes damaged from the sinkhole at the National Corvette Museum should be left unrestored? Well, the results are in, and more than 50 percent of the folks who voted in Autoweek’s survey believed at least one of the cars should be preserved in its current state as a reminder of the catastrophe. Our poll results here were a bit different. Check them out after the jump.

If we didn't already have hundreds of thousands of them already looking like that in boneyards, I might agree. Restore them all and let the pictures and documentation of the restorations do the talking in their own exhibit. It'll work two fold when people see the care a car manufacturer actually extends to take the time to restore history versus the penny pinching, "Just show it like it is" approach.
