A lot of that is tough resale...very niche. I think you're going to have to take more of a hit than that unfortunately. That, or get someone near you that wants to partner on the deal and do the leg work to sell the stuff online for a percentage. If I were local I'd do that for you.

thanks for the input, damian. there is a huge swap meet out here at the end of jan. I will approach all the vendors there with your idea and see if anyone bites. thanks again. wish you were closer.

I have many of the same items shown in your picture, and although mine aren't for sale I would expect only a 10 or 20 percent return on most of my investment. Some limited production items - rare Exotos, limited production Franklin Mints, Zoras, and Revell/Creative Masters are going for more than their original cost, but items like Ertl/American Muscle are generally pretty common and cheap.

GLWS!

No 1/24 scale plastic promos in this collection? Specifically interested in a 1978 Pace car.

Are the GM prints 8x10 black and white?

no promo's at all. it took me 6 months to find the 78 that I could afford. very hard one to find affordable. the prints are b&w. for right now i'm keeping the collection complete. we'll see what the future brings before I start dividing it up. i'm a native of Chicago...how's the weather back there? sorry.

Thanks for the reply. Weather isn't bad today or this past weekend for that matter. But still snow on the ground and cooler temps are coming later this week. Nothing like the negative wind chills of last week though.

Good luck with your sale.

Just for kicks I brought this up with the wife, it was a non starter pretty much as I figured. If you decide to split it up let me know though. You may have a few items I am interested in, specifically non diecast stuff. Thanks.

I have updated my original post because I have decided to separate the items for sale. I have already sold most of the die-cast, but still have some left. I do still have a "buy it all" price listed. if interested in any items, email for wants and price. updated pics show how much smaller my collection has become after selling the bulk of the die-cast cars...

I'm looking for a red C3 (1970) in 1:24 scale. Do you still have one for sale?

Thank you, Roger

hey roger,
most of the diecast cars are already gone. I don't remember having a red 70 anyway.
sorry,

I have a lot of promos for sale, but they never made a pace car model; just the 78 silver anniversary model.
