That is already out, but a little pricey right now. Limited amount available though.....I like the 1/32 fly version as well. Great detail! :seeya

...justed picked up the 1/32 scale version Fly slot car. i don't race these things, but i collect them as display models - in fact, i have all 6 versions of the c5r, including the gm test car. if you haven't check out the 1/32 scale Fly c5r's, the detail, quality, and workmanship of Fly is excellent.

Hmmm,
This is amusing. It was the beating my FLY C5R's (I have the 2001 Daytona #2 car and the 2001 LePetit Lemans car, lighted) were taking on the track:smash: that started my interest in diecast. I won't feel so bad about dinging up those beautiful cars if I have a pristine 1/18 scale replica on the shelf :D. My first Autoart Lemans C5-R is on the way

BTW, good to see a few 1/32 slot enthusiasts lurking amongst the diecast crowd.

[QUOTE in fact, i have all 6 versions of the c5r, including the gm test car./QUOTE]

I thought there are 8 of these? Do you have the PA5 Silver version as well? I'm lacking the test car right now and the lighted version Texas car. The hunt continues .....always.:seeya

Update: I did a search on ebay and came up with this list.
A121 #3 Black and Silver
A122 #64 Lemans Winner
A123 #2 Daytona Winner
A124 #3 Texas
A124L #3 Texas lighted
A125 #4 Petit LeMans
A125L #4 Petit LeMans
E121 #73 GM test car
PA5 #12 Spanish GT 2001

So, if you count veriations there are 9, if you don't there are 7.

You nailed the list, Goody, with one small historical correction if I may. The #64 yellow and white car was third in class at Le Mans in 2000. (The all yellow #63 - not available as a slot car - won the GTS class at Le Mans in 2001.)
All 9 Fly 1:32 slot car variations are shown above as well as a custom version I did before the "United We Stand" car was released. It was made from a spare Daytona #2 car.

And just to keep you looking, here are the next Fly 1:32 scale C5 cars expected:

The Jack Cauley Chevrolet GT3 car at Daytona 1999

And the Trinkler car (a hardtop not a coupe but who's complaining?) which was supposedly homologated as a GT (not GTS) car and ran in Texas in 2000:

Regards,
David

 Thanks for the info.....and still, the hunt continues. :seeya

Oh yeah, should we start including all the Carrera and Ninco cars too?

i have 6 of the gm c5r's. i count the two versions of the lighted/unlighted the same. as for the spanish pa5(?) i dont have it - just interested in the gm versions, but i probably should get it. i see someone has a pic of a red/white/blue striped (not "american flag") - what's that???? also, any other corvette slot cars out there, i know there is a red '67 coupe by carrera. any others with Fly detail/quality?

Haven't heard, but it shouldn't be hard since it is a few minor body mods, new wing and some paint.....time will tell though. :seeya
