Just wondering if anyone here has ever bought a Lane Collection - ExactDetail model? If not, you absolutely have to. They are awesome models!!! As their name says, they include every "exact" detail, including wires, engine stickers and all!!!
From my understanding, they are a young die-cast company and only have three molds right now: late 60's Camaro, early 70's Cutlass and late 60's Stangs. I bought the '67 Yenko Camaro and I can't wait to buy a couple more. Warning: these models are a little pricey ($70-$100). I think their models are much better than Franklin Mint or any other die-casts I've ever seen.
Here's a link to their website... http://www.exactdetail.com . I'm a member in their forum and would love to have some Vette support over there. Not many Vette lovers their with the exception of one of their moderators.
Hope to see you there. By the way, by member name their is "VetteGuy".
Re: Lane Collection - ExactDetail models. (Leos 81)
Lane actualy started out like GMP did, they took Ertl models and modified
them into thier own unique products.
I own thier Mustangs and the Cutlass (and the GMP version of the Judge)
they are very nice models indeed. Still not on par with Exoto but priced much
more affordably.
