Electron Blue Coupe??

Anybody know where I can get a model of an electron blue coupe?

As far as I know there aren't any, yet. I expect there will be soon, since 02 was the first year for the color it takes a while.

I bought Boyd's "True Blue Pearl" (its actually metallic, go figure) and sprayed it on a silver, 97, 1/24 scale coupe (die cast metal kit) just to see how it would look. After a few coats it looked identical to Electron Blue.

It also came with stock silver wheels and chrome Z06 wheels, which I used. Looks pretty good actually. In fact it turned out so nice I am going to do the same thing with a 1/18 scale coupe.

Got the car and paint at Wal Mart in the model car section.

I was able to get an electron blue vert from Ken Fitchner, it is the promo. :smash:

Scale18 has a 1998 Corvette Targa Dark Blue by BBurago listed as a furture release #bu3396b on their website. No release date as of yet.
