Default Action and the C5Rs

Anyone else notice that the Action sponsorship wasn't on the cars at Sebring?

Wonder what impact that will have on future diecasts.

Good point. Hopefully it means they wont be making anymore POS reditions of the C5-R. Let Auto Art do it since they get it much better. Not perfect, but real good looking. :seeya

Sell them all you want but the fact is that AUTOart builds a "near musem"
quality "Reproduction" where as Action Racing produces "Toys".

Sorry but I will take "Light & Detailed" over "Heavy & Toylike" any day!

You are so kidding yourself if you believe what you just said about the
Action C5-R's being collectible. Infact if Dale E Sr. had not passed on, And
had Action not taken advantage of a mans death. Then you would never
have seen any of the Action C5-R's sell for more than thier original price.

I can find tons of "in demand" Action cars, Especialy RCCA NHRA cars for
far less than thier fair market value.

JMHO... :)

I won't be selling my AutoArt's in the future because they are such great looking models. And I won't care how much the Actions are selling for because anything above an Ertl-like price of $25 is way more than they are worth IMO given their poor quality!

My Action c5R fell apart, not that the various pieces on it fit together, anyway.

I wish I had spent the money on an auto art.
I have an Auto Art lamborghini, Auto Art Callaway.. both eclipse the Action easily in quality and accuracy.

I've been looking for an Auto-Art c5, so I can bury the action c5 in the back yard.

/<ale,

Just tie your dog to the Action C5-R, It's heavy so he won't be able to move!

I heard the Mafia uses used action models to drown people now.
Evidently with the economy being what it is, it's cheaper than
concrete shoes.
