Default (rant) got two '95 promos in the mail today

I ordered two 95 promos a while back and they showed up today. Both have the steering wheels upside down and they are DESIGNED that way !! Did anyone look at these before they approved the release? I know they were cheap but c'mon! One also had the front bumper bent into the wheels leaving a gap the width of a pencil between the bumper and hood. This same car also has a tailight that was missing and was found loose in the box. Nice QC work people. Fortunately, I bought two and the bad one will be used as a mule that will become a copy of my car after a repaint etc. Buyers beware. These things are crap. They were ordered from the Corvette Museum . No, I am not going to return them. It's not worth the hassle. I still don't understand how they screwed up the steering wheels. Anyone else have one? Check it out.
:mad

Oh, and I just realized the body molding is old style C4.

Now you know why promos are falling out of favor with a lot of collectors.

They are expensive, yet cheap. The '97 promo, for example, is identical to an $8 "snap fast" kit, yet most sources wanted $20-$30 for them.

If you're looking to make a model of a particular Vette, you're much better off trying to find a more accurate model kit and assembling it yourself.

Sorry.
