Default Are there any L-98 models out there. (die cast, plastic, 1:18,1:24, I don't care)

I really don't care if I have to paint and build it or if it comes preassembled. I just REALLY want a 85-90 model that I can see the engine.

Make a trip to Houston during the Autorama show and you will be in heaven. They have about any year Corvette model you might want. Some are expensive ($50.00) and some are cheap ($10.00). It is held every Thanksgiving weekend.

I bought several kits on E-Bay, Monogram makes A 1985 in 1/8 Scale (This is almost 22" Long) I am still working on putting this together. It is really a good kit! Also Monogram makes a 1/24 Scale Kit of the 1985 , I have this one also and bought a Monogram 1989 ZR-1 kit to get the wheels like I have on mine. E-Bay is a good sorce for these kits as all are out of production at this time.
Ertl is coming out with a 1984 Diecast in 1/18th Scale in July in Red and in Oct. in Black and in Nov. 24K Gold , But these do not have the L-98. Hope this helps. Bob

There are also the Franklin Mint series of 84-88 vettes with the L98 in them(1/25 diecast). They are a bit expensive though ($40-50 range used/preowned). The Monogram 85's (1/24 & 1/8) are very good kits, better then AMT/Ertl kits.
Pics of the 1/8 85, the red Maisto vette in front of it is 1/18 for size comparison.

I picked it up a long time ago. I think they sell for around $100 on Ebay.
