Hi... I'm Russ and I'm a 1:18 diecastaholic too. I don't know how it happened. All I did was buy the Revell '69 C3 Red Roadster that I had been looking for......and..... (starting to choke up) the next thing you know....I had a C5 Convertible, a '62 Roadster, a Ferrari 250, a Mustang Shelby GT500, the Corvette Trailer set....and pre-order on the new Carousel #3 LeMans '68 L88 coming out in July  :smash:
P.S. You Chicago area guys....great shop in Brookfield..."A World of Die Cast" on Ogden Ave. Tons of models in stock. I was like a kid in a candy store :D

Truck Guy,
Thanks for the tip, I'll be sure to check it out. So far the only place in the area I've found is Al's Hobby Shop in Elmhurst. They've got an OK selection, but the prices are absurd. I've never bought anything there.

Truck guy,
I've got the Corvette trailer set too. Blue Chev P/U pulling the 'vette on a trailer. Nice...
I've just got to get around to picking up a red '99 hard top to go on the trailer now.

Steve, You've got to check this place out. Looks like there in an old corner store and they must have 1000 models in stock. 9221 West Ogden, Brookfield, Il 60513 708-387-0574. The owners name is Don. I'm going back in a couple of weeks to pickup a Hummer to pull the Vette trailer. :yesnod:
Re: Hi, my name is Steve, and I'm a diecastaholic ('99Vetteguy)
'99Vetteguy,
I'm going to setup a Red Hummer Wagon, pulling the red Vette trailer with the 1968 L-88 #3 24 Hours of Lemans Vette on the trailer. Sort of a "Vintage" racer display.

I've got a yellow Hummer pulling the yellow trailer set with a C5R on it. Looks sharp!

Hey, was at Pepboys last night getting some stuff and came across the Pro street Hotwheels car they have had out for the past several months. Seems this was the last one and the box was trashed, but I got the car in perfect condition for only $15.00 at 50% off retail.....woo hoo....timing is everything. :D

Very cool. I'll have to search around and see what I can come up with for a tow
vehicle. The Chevy P/U is OK, but I don't have one in 1:1 inventory. I'll have to
look for an appropriate Suburban, I suppose.
