At a Cruise tonight, I trotted over to an adjoining shopping center and visited a "DOLLAR TREE" store. In the toy section, I was AMAZED to find M2 Machines die-casts - that I've bought previously at WalMart and Target for $4.99 - selling for a dollar each. Though I would have never bought these for the high price shown above, how could I go wrong for a buck? I bought: '54 Chevy H/T; '55 Pontiac H/T; '53 Olds "98" H/T; '51 Ford Crestliner; '57 Ford Fairlane. I was surprised when I visited the Dollar Tree web site (www.dollartree.com) to find that there were MANY stores in my area (Western Pa.); now that the Cruise "season" is winding down, I'm gonna hafta do some Cruisin' to OTHER D/T stores!
