Default Finally pulled out my collection to see what I had!

I FINALLY got around to pulling out the cars I had been collecting for a little over a year now. I usually buy them and they go in tubs however I needed to pull them out and see what I had and what ones I still need to get. Ends up I had around 300 cars and 1 dog that wanted in the photo.

nice collection. i mainly collect 1:64 too and also for just over a year. I know I have over 200 but not quite 300 yet. I do the same thing though, buy them and put them in a bin. I have to go through them soon so I stop buying duplicates.

Very nice assortment. Looks like you tend to concentrate on the smaller scales and that's great. Makes it more fun when you go on vacation, let's say, and gives you an opportunity to look for additions to the collection while your wife/girlfriend (or both) go shopping.

Be aware though that collecting exact-scale miniature model cars can be addictive and should you start to think it might be nice to have a larger-scale Corvette model with a great amount of detail, then be very cautious. This is where the big money - realatively speaking - comes into play.

I believe threhave been well 1,000 corvette models produced over the years and for some the temptation isto collect them all. That's great if you have the money, but be careful. there's a lot of serious collectors out there and they know their stuff.

I really like the approach you've taken so far with the smaller scale models. Be sure to have fun at this. That's what the hobby is supposed to be about.
