Default 1:24 '70 T-top: what engine should new die-cast have?

What engine would you like to see in a new die-cast from Maisto? One choice would be the 454 but perhaps you would like the base 350...or the LT-1 small block.

I'm really tired of all the diecasts (and model kits, too) always coming with the highest horse power engine. Every die cast has a 435, or L-88 or fuelie. I vote for the L-48 or no more than the LT-1. It would be nice to have a 57 with 2x4s, a 62 340 hp, a 63 300, how about a 67 427/390 for aa change and a 68 327/350. too!

Thanks for the suggestions. Maybe we'll go with a hi-po 350 just to be different and have a model of car that is more of an "everyday" Corvette.

I would go for the LT1 350 engine also, but would really prefer to be made in 1:18th scale as no 70-72 have ever been done.
Are you Chuck from Maisto??? If so haven't heard from you on the diecast pub in a long time.(Hubman66 there)But then again i only go to the 1:18th section.

Thanks Bob's C6. Yes, I'm Charles from Maisto -- on the diecast pub my username is Maisto. I read it (as well as this site) often but rarely post.
