Hi Everybody I have been looking for the Danbury Mint 1966 #9 Penske/Sunoco race car,haven't been able to find one anyplace.Does anybody have any suggestions as to where I might find one? ken h

I trust you called DM already? I thought they still had them in stock or at least a low amount of them.

You do know that people on this Forum are allergic to paying retail for anything.

Well, DM does only direct sales...meant no dealers. So the options here are few. I have contacts and might be able to check on whether or not they have these in stock.

I'll have to look at mine, I don't remember the mud flaps being on mine!

I don't think they were necessarily designed as mudflaps. If I remember correctly, that design was carried over from the Gran Sports

I've got three Accurate Minitures Grand Sports.Plastic put together kits.I opened one and am amazed at the detail for a 1/24 plastic kit!Anybody ever put one together.I'd like to see a picture of that!!

Bob Johnson is the co-owner of Accurate Miniatures and the designer behind the grand sport kit.

I know Bob...and trust me...if he designs a high detail kit, it is high detail!

As far as anyone can tell, Danbury is sold out of these.
