The car was originally silver. I took it apart, stripped it to the metal, primered it, painted the striping, masked the striping, then painted the rest Admiral Blue.

Nice job!

After a long time of not modeling, I'm about to convert a diecast and a plastic promo to look exactly like my MS C6 with Competition Grey wheels. Here's the question: The plastic wheels are all chromed. Have you found a better method than soaking them in bleach to strip the chrome before priming? Or have you found a primer that bonds to the chrome?

Thanks!

I've always used Westley's Bleche-Wite to remove chrome. Just soak the parts in it for awhile and the chrome comes right off without damaging the plastic...
