Default Oh crap...Can of worms opened - Anyone looking for anything?

We may be moving sometime in the next few months. So I got a "hair" this evening and decided to crack open the boxes full of Corvette collectible stuff that I have not seen in several years. These are just the boxes that were in the garage. I still have boxes hidden in basement storage, and boxes at our Corvette garage property. This first round was enough to make me sick.

What the hell was I thinking? I don't want this stuff. I have so much (so much...) stuff on display and now this extra stuff? Diecast cars in all scales, Corvette belt buckles, Hot Wheels and Johnny Lightning stuff, including a complete case of unopened JL First Shots, Christmas ornaments, 3 new Corvette telephones, NFL 1999 collection, VCR rewinder, and pretty much every "hey, let's take a dump in the form of a Corvette" item out there. Mostly 1:64, several 1:24, and lots of 1:18 Diecasts too.

My main collection is here (and in progress, stuff not necessarily for sale) http://www.jetsvettes.com

But for this other stuff I will have to make a plan to put it on ebay. I'm probably going to pick out the high dollar items to put up for sale, and create "lots" of other stuff to get it out the door. But until I get it all worked out, if anyone is looking for something hit me up and I will see if I have what you want. 1:18 scale diecasts are popular on this forum, and I have a bunch that I can part with. All this stuff has never been on display, and never been out of the box. And it's got to go...

I may be different than most people but, I usually don't know what I have to have until I see it. I see a few things in your post I might be interested in but, don't know if this is what you want to get rid of or want to keep. If you are going to attempt to sell, try posting a few pics here first with prices since, you'll have to post pics on e-bay anyway, just a thought.

Yeah, that's a good point. I just need to get it all organized. Been working on it all day and still not sure what to do with most of it. Some of it's just worthless...I'm better off giving it to the kids (they have been hovering over me all day ). But I have found some good stuff too.

Keep us posted with the details and if you don't have a pay-pal account, you will probably want to get one. Good luck with your decluttering.

That's hardcore! I think I like the setup behind the stuff on the floor better! What's the name of the band? Is this your basement? If so that looks like a rockin setup you have down there.

Hey Chris, Yep...it's my basement. Pretty sad, huh? Music is my "other" hobby that can take a lot of time (and $$). What you don't see is another part of the basement with the recording studio. Mackie D8B 24T digital board, 24T HDR, all the tools and toys, sound room with engineering side, etc. I keep a second set of drums mic-ed up. It's a great hobby. Band name is Redhawk Station. Again, only a hobby. Would love to play out more, but don't have time whatsoever to mess with it. So we keep the full stage rig set up and bring the party to my house every once in a while. I have very understanding neighbors. U Play? Hit me with a PM.

Ordered it from a guy at Bloomington Gold, who now has them available at his ebay store (I'm pretty sure it's the same guy). He was very fair to deal with. Here is a link:

Default First round of ebay auctions

I put the first round of ebay auctions set to start tonight for a lot of my Corvette stuff. I have so much more to go but for now this is what's out there (start Tuesday 11:30EDT). I'm trying to dump "lots" and let them go cheap with reasonable shipping and no reserve.

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZjetskeQQhtZ-1

Hopefully this link will show all my auctions (starting after 11:30EDT)
