Default Certin FM going up in $$

Ive noticed a few FM that seen to be going up in value.
Example#1 the Met.blue 81
#2 the black 80 club car that I bought a couple of yrs ago for $70.00
#3 the 78 PC
#4the two tone silver/Dark red.80 I think
I picked up all there on the cheap except for the met.blue 81.I paid retail from MM and Machelle gave me a very low sn.Anybody else see a trend here?

Agreed Copter. Trends are better...I've been watching too.

But dont' say "FM" too loud around here...or you will get the "quality is not as good as DM speech...".

Well I do agree that DM has done a better job for the same$$ as FM but I do have both.

Yep. DM has done a better job. I just got my '83 FM...and it is the worst one yet. It's awful. I have both as well, but I'm keeping emphasis on FM because I think there is a lot of potential in terms of value. Quality or no.

It's all a big circle anyway.

The FM Apollo 12 '69 has really skyrocketed in value! (Sorry, I couldn't resist that one). But seriously folks, you pretty much can't touch one on Ebay for under $400. I figured it'd be a winner both with the low production of 427 and the crossover appeal into the space program.

I'd sell now while prices are high. There's a chance they could go higher, but before long the weather will be nice and people will be spending their money on outdoor stuff.

I agree. The prices on these were sick a week or two ago but seem to be dropping a bit. Still is probably a good time to go.

Ok,it's on there.I'll have to post pics when I get home.I'm stuck working night shift this week.I think you are right to sell it now while it's hot.The only diecast I made money on after keeping it for quite awhile was a FM 1970 Chevelle that they made a few in crandberry red.I had that for a couple of yrs, maybe longer and sold it for $350.00
