I thought it would be nice to have a "twin" of my car. I haven't seen them though. The "96" Grand sport that I saw had the wrong seats in it...from a 93 or earlier model. Do they actually make these?
I would start with the Maisto '92 since it has the same "gills" as the '94, whereas the '96 would be different. The A-mold wheels could be taken from another Maisto Vette, and the interior can be repainted red.

Maisto C4's are about the easiest to modify of any 1/18's. The chassis unscrews from the bottom in 6 places, and everything just pops out from there. I would suggest just swapping the chassis with the sawblade wheels for one with the 5-spoke wheels as the wheels can be a little difficult to remove from the hubs. The interior is easy to disassemble, prime, and paint. All Maisto C4 chassis' are the same, so the swap is no problem. There are a few that come with silver A-mold wheels.
I think I'll wait and watch for the White 92 ZR1, at least the outside will have the right "gills". Then I can pick up one of the others with the silver a molds.
I like when people "mis-label" their items. Less people competing for it cuz they weren't looking in the right place
I don't think the person selling it has a clue ,here is their description ...
"Beautiful Maisto die cast 1:18 scale model of the fabulous mid-engine 1992 Jaguar XJ220 roadster. It is British right-hand drive, doors, front “bonnet” and the “glass” over the engine open and it has steerable front wheels. The model measures 10 ½” long. It is in very good condition. It comes with the original box which is a little beat up. Made in Thailand. "

Beings I am going to get something like the 95 pace car, can I just take the white body off and put it on the pace car chassis, so I'll have the right engine too? I mean, is it that easy?

Yep, Maisto C4's are piece of cake to do swaps with. You can just put the pace car chassis under the white body and interior and you should be good to go. It's so easy, a caveman can do it!
I had already bid on another one, and didn't figure that I really needed two. Besides, what are they going to sell for? $20...$30? I wasn't sure what a good price was . I have a higher bid the other one.
