Default Mint models 75

Has anybody got one of these? They do look nice with the silver interior. It's to bad they don't partner up with DM,I've had all the FM I can handle.I guess if you have a red 75 vert it's christmas time.I know if I had one I'd have to buy one even if it is FM.I think thats the only 75 diecast ever made.Oh my god how stupid can I get.I've got the yellow vert.

Default FM Mint Models 1975 Red

I think I have one of these. My "connection" at Mint Models has me down for one but it's not here yet. I just got the black FM MM 1969 LE (#12), which took a while, too. So I have hope yet on the '75 red.

I hope I'm not missing the Danbury Mint "boat" here. I have been pushing hard to get my FM collection caught up. I bought the first Danbury Mint (I think...I don't know), the 1953 white Vette. Then I got the other offers to expand, but didn't do it. I'm not sure why other than I felt like Danbury Mint was a FM wanna be. Now I'm seeing everyone on this forum is tired of FM and Danbury Mint is hot...

Goes to show you never know, eh?

I have one on order for a friend, but they won't be out in April. It's basically another FM repaint with a silver interior. Silver seems like an odd interior choice as I don't recall ever seeing a lot of red cars, much less red Corvettes, with silver interiors. If they didn't want to go with a black interior again, I think red would've looked sharp.

On preorder. I think due out in April.

A repaint of the yellow 75 with several upgrades. Mint Models do a nice job on their LE. I expect this will be as good as the others.

You should have stayed on the DM bandwagon. They seem to be holding their value. FM's are almost at give away pricing on EBay.

But I never bought a diecast as an investment. I buy them because they give me pleasure now. Will they be worth more down the road?

Only my heirs will know.
