I'll take the 63 black w/ red interior and the 67 red with black interior pm me on payment and shipping to 55038. Thanks Dave
I'm really confused as to which ones you want...that description doesn't match anything in the pic? You've got first dibs.
At any rate, I'd be interested in the white '67 427 convertible with black interior, black stinger stripe and antenna mast...PM me with shipping to 66213.
Somehow it would need to be boxed for shipment so the antenna wouldn't be damaged or the antenna removed to ship...
Yes 1:18 scale.
Dave pay pal arrived, thanks! BUB your's is packed ready to go.
I noticed on the dark blue Split Window that I painted the interior saddle tan, years ago and forgot about it! The only reason I could tell was some overspray on the steering column under the car. The door panels separate from the handles and trim chrome so everything looks factory fresh...Ertl factory that is! I added scale correct tubing for exhaust tips instead of the solid plastic.....I used to have time and better eyes to putz on this stuff.

LF wheel was broken off, but I fixed it by carefully drilling thru spindle and residual axle stub and inserting old broken drill bit (very small diameter). Antenna was fine!
Suggestion: Add shipping support under chassis of car (taking the weight off the fragile axles & wheels), plus more padding at front/rear of car. The post office can find a way to break just about anything. Looks like it was dropped on its LF as not only the wheel broke off, but the entire front of the body was ajar and coming apart (impact popped out screws under headlights that hold the black plastic engine bay surround/interior in place, so everything was knocked "out of whack").
Disassembled/re-assembled and all is OK.
At least I know how these things go together now!!!
Thanks again for sharing with fellow Forum members,

BUB,
That sucks!!! I've sent out over 40 models since my "collection reduction" program began Jan 1st and the Post Office finally "crashed" one on me!!
I've sent you a pay pal to help cover your body work labor.

Thanks for your follow up, and the PayPal. Really not necessary, as it's fine now after some body work (1/2 hour or so).
Just another further confirmation that Forum Members are good people.

PS: I'll try to post some pics tonight showing axle repair, so others can see how this is done if ever needed. I've found in the past that gluing the "stub" axle back to the spindle just will not hold. You have to carefully drill & insert a steel pin (usually a tiny [1/64"?] broken drill bit) to give it the support needed.
