After six years at Savage Mill, we have decided that the best direction for Endless Road to take is as a web-based business. Therefore, we have decided to close the shop and focus on updating and marketing our website.
As of today, all of the merchandise in the shop, other than hold merchandise, is 10% off.
Unfortunately, we will no longer carry diecast models. There will be a few exceptions, such as the Super Cars ’57 Chevy. The manufacturer is sold out of this model, and we have six customers relying on us to get it for them. We’ll still keep this on order and contact the customers when it comes in. However, we will not be placing any new orders from this time on.
The shop will still be open for another month, with our last day being Saturday, March 26th.
We ask that you pick up any items you have on hold by the end of the day Sunday, March 6th. Any hold merchandise not picked up by that time will be placed on the shelves for sale.
If you have left consignment merchandise with us, we ask that you pick it up by the end of the day Sunday, March 20th.
We will still be sending out Road Chatter, so, as always, we’re still looking for interesting trivia about the cars we know and love.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the business you have brought our way and for the friendships we have made. It’s those friendships and the interesting people we’ve met that we’re going to miss the most.
It's been a great ride, and we've enjoyed it all very much. Thank you.
Overhead is definitely a killer... I was talking to a local diecast shop-owner about that very thing a couple of months ago. It was so sad to hear him saying, "I've been in this location since this shopping center was built, but by next month, I'll probably be gone..."
