Default F/S - 2003 50th Anniv Pin set (Nashville Crawl)

I have a 11pc Nashville Crawl Corvette 50th Anniv pin set on Ebay for sale. If you didn't get there in June 2003 or just missed out doing this pin hunt. Here's your chance to get this very rare set. Most pins were Limited Edition of 500 pcs only.Below is a description of each pin and here's the Ebay link.....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

Here's what was included in the SOLD OUT pins for the CORVETTE 50th Anniversary Convention that was held in Nashville June 27th and 28th , 2003 called "The Nashville Crawl".They include (3) limited edition pins that were sold at the stadium site only. On Friday the 1953 Motorama logo pin was sold to the first 1,953 buyers at $20.00 each. Then on Saturday the 3D 50th Anniv. pin was released and sold out to the first 2,003 buyers at $20.00 each. The third pin released on the stadium grounds was a C5 side view with hanging tag that read the date of event plus CORVETTE. It was pictured on the "Nashville Crawl" handout sheet with a 50th logo also belonging on the hanging tag but wasn't produced that way. It also appeared to be "yellow" on that sheet but is actually gold. The next pins available around town were from local bars or eatery such as the Red with Cream top 1957 Corvette Convertible pin from the Nashville Hard Rock Cafe. This pin was designed with the support of General Motors and has the OFFICIAL Corvette 50th Anniversary Logo along with the Hard Rock Cafe Nashville 2003 Logo. Limited to 1000, this is a first ever combination of Hard Rock Cafe and automotive trademarks. Back of pin has 7 lines with the 4th reading: "General Motors Trademark" 5th line reads: "Used under License to GM". The CORVETTE logo is printed in gold under the 50TH ANNIVERSARY LOGO but is a little hard to see in the scan. The next two eaterly / bars pins were from The Stage on Broadway ( has 50th logo plus event dates), Legends Corner on Broadway (has CORVETTE and Anniversary Celebration - Nashville - June 27-28, 2003) They were limited to 500 pins only. In order to get these pins you were required to purchase a "special event" drink. The last eatery pin (1,000 pins only) from THe Wildhorse Saloon on 2nd Ave. was the hardest of this series because of the "two entree at one sitting" requirement from a special entree menu that started around $17.00 each. They would only give one pin per about $40.00 guest check. This pin has a 1953 Corvette on one side of the Wildhorse logo and the 50th logo on the other with Nashville across the top and event dates across bottom. The next three pins were from Grand Ole Opry businesses. The General Jackson (LE of 500) is an old showboat that by purchasing a ride on it your recieved your pin. It cost us $60.05 each. Next was the "Grand Ole Opry" (LE of 1,000)show pin(has Nashville, dates of event, and 2003 Anniv. coupe) and the Ryman Auditorium (LE of 500) (has Nashville, dates of event, and 2003 50th logo along with type of steering wheel used on most NCCC items)pins. The last pin requirement was for a T-shirt from the "Nashville Outlet" (LE of 500). It shows a 1953 & 2003 vettes with the 50th logo and Nashville written across its bottom.

That for sure is an exceptional collection. Wish I had the cash to buy them. I was at the 50th and it was probably the one best event I have ever attended. A week and a half of permagrin. Maybe one day I'll be able to collect them.
