Thanks for the info. The Z06 Specter Werkes and the Guldstrand '63 racer sound interesting. I'll be adding the maroon '65 to my collection (have the green and blue, don't have the red yet). Three of the C6 coupes are available for preorder at DiecastMuscle. They give an ETA of April '05.

They did a pretty darned good job on the C5's, so I'd venture to guess that their C6's will be nice too.

I wonder if the racing '63 is a remake of that Ertl Edlebrock racer. Are they one and the same?

The Ertl "63" was a Vic Edelbrock model

I'd venture to guess it won't be the Edelbrock racer. Dick Guldstrand drove the #56 '63 roadster in 1963 for SCCA. It wasn't a GS, just a race-prepped '63 vert with a rollbar. It'd be great to finally get a '63 roadster, and if that's what it actually turns out to be, maybe we'll get some stock versions out of it.

I don't know, but it's a good thing it's spelled with an "e". I'd hate to think what a Phil Spector Corvette would look like right now!

I did a search on the Maisto website, and came up with a photo of the Specter Werkes Z06. Very nice, black with mod red interior

Auto Art is also doing a 1963 roadster in silver and in red.But I'm sure Maisto's will be very worthy of their price.

I think that this is the rollerskate car.... They had to put the wheels from a rollerskate on the roll bar, because Dick Guldstrand kept rolling it over.... I could be wrong....
