HOLY COW! I knew the value on those PC cars went up...but I didn't know they got that high
I'm glad I have 3...1, to keep and 2 to sell...I'm going to just sit on them awhile longer

I think he has a 78 pace car by UT.the 78 silver anny by UT is a lot less money. You mostly see the all sliver ones.I did get one of those.I really wanted the two tone silver but you don't see them very often on ebay.I did get one awhile back and pretty much paid retail.for it.I just through in the 1/24th FM 82 collector edition just to show how high some of these so called limited production cars bring

There seems to be pretty much of a wild swing on the UT '78 pace cars, anywhere from $150-$300 on Ebay, sometimes more. Outside of a private sale, Ebay is about the only place to get them anymore. $255 is not an unreasonable asking price in today's market. AutoArt has made no indication as to whether they ever plan on reissuing the car, although they'd be crazy not to. However, with an average AutoArt lead time of about two years, I don't think you'd see a drastic drop in Ebay prices right away.

I'm with you 7vette.AA reissued the 25th silver anny and the 82CE in their millumiun edition.Pretty much the same car but with fip up headlights. Not enough of a difference for me to buy as I allready have both.I would on the other hand buy a 78 PC if they reissued it in the millumium edition.I've got all the C3's that UT/AA has made except the black one.I just got the yellow one off that new site gomotorbids maybe.Got the red one off ebay. Both were around the 40-45 dollar range.I have no problem paying that as these cars are very well detailed. As far as FM goes I got one of their 1980 member car. It's black with tan interior.Low serial number.00769.Paid $70.00

The last 5 sold on e-bay went for $187.50,$185.00,$237.50,$225.00,and$139. 00 plus the 2 that are on now are over $100 with lots of time left.
I'm sure glad I bought mine for the $39.95 issue price when they came out.
