1982 Crossfire 14,900 miles for sale
I have a nice 1982 corvette for sale with 14,900 miles. The second owner passed away a little over a year ago and had cancer. It has not been plated for 4 or 5 years because he was too sick to drive it. Always garaged and is dirty but will clean up fine. It has the mirrored T-tops and is very nice. There is one small spot on the hood where the paint is faded and the rear spoiler is also faded. His wife said they were driving it and stopped at a light and it stalled. The owner said it was the fuel pump and bought a new one but it never got installed. My mechanic said he would go through the entire car and it would be less than a thousand dollars, so we are thinking about doing that but am open to offers to settle the estate. I have pictures but it was raining and the car is very dusty from sitting. The pictures are all over 6 meg taken with a high def camera so I can't download them here. Yes, It is in the shop right now
The fuel pump is easy to access and my mechanic is draining all the fluids, replacing all hoses, belts, air lines, tune up, oil and filters, and going through the entire car right now. As soon as He has it running I will post. Thanks, Kevin
