This is a very clean car and I have owned for over 18 years. I believe it is an M-22, because it is original matching # transmission and rear end. I thought they put M-22's in the LT1, and M-21 in the standard L48's. It is the close ratio pattern. But the engine block is not a # matching, it is a 4 bolt main block, solid lifter motor built to factory specs, it does have # matching 2.02 heads also.
And sorry the vin is the coupe vin....19437
Sorry for bad pics, my phone camera was a little foggy, since it was raining and I just backed car out to was and wax for season. The last pic is when it was still dirty sitting in shop.

it in 1995. The only thing I did research is that the ZR1's and the BB had expansion tanks and metal shrouds. But as far as the WW bottle, where were they located? because the vin is definatley a 1970 and shows no sign of ever being in any accident. This car is one of the last 140 produced in 1970 according to vin. (end of June or July). Did they make any changes toward the end of production?
And where is the water bottle on yours?

Drifting
Lt 1
I also have a March 70 LT 1 with matching #'s except trans. He shoukld be able to see if Vin # is on Tranny ?? My engine is a matching # and the car was modified to a Baldwin Motion style car years back but I was not able to find any doc's .I am in process of restoring it to sell to put my kids through college. I found my car in central Calif under a tarp for 30 years with 4 point roll cage American racing wheels all other LT 1 items match up .Very low mileage
