Automatic, has a TH400.
Horsepower, not sure. The engine seems to be from a '74 Chevelle, runs good, idles with 20" vacuum.

The carpet looks smoke gray as in your description, are the dash, steering wheel and seats oyster or a really light gray? Can't tell for sure. Thanks. Beautiful interior by the way.

So you havent run the numbers on your engine? How long have you owned your car?

If you're interested I can look into it, if not, it makes no difference to me what it came out of, it's not original to the car. The carb numbers indicate it's from a 74 Chevelle with a 400, and since this is a 400 engine,, my guess is that's where the engine came from too. I've had the car 2 years, engine was there when I bought it.

It's all smoke grey, I redyed all the parts that aren't new, except the seats, they are in nice original shape.

Daily bump, I bought this car for the wife, but unfortunately she decided one vette was enough in the garage. so, after working to get it mechanically in tip top shape, for the last two years, I'm letting it go for a fraction of what I paid for it and the time spent on it getting it in great roadworthy shape. Its a good deal for someone interested in finishing it up cosmetically....

Can the AC be fixed or does it need to be replaced? Does the bottom half of the paint need to be redone? I was thinking of pace car like paint job. GLWTS

Most of the paint damage is on the upper half. The AC heeds a new hose assembly that connects to the compressor and will need a new dryer as it's been open for some time. If time and money permit, I may repair the AC.

ok. thx.
FYI to anyone looking for a C3- I can vouch and attest to anyone looking for a C3 that Dean is very knowledgeable with all things mechanical and helps many others locally on the forum because he loves doing this stuff. GLWS.

PS: I should add, believe me, Dean doesn't need me to glut all over him. In fact, I'm probably going to hear about this.
