Default WTB - 73 Corvette

OK, I recently sold my 56 Corvette project (I am too old and decrepit for projects), so I am looking for something to replace it.

I keep coming back on one of my favorites years, 1973.

I had a 73 convertible many years ago, and I wish I had never sold it. Anyway, I am looking for the following:

1973 Corvette coupe or convertible

Exterior colors: Yellow (code 952), Medium Blue (code 922), Mille Miglia Red (code 976). Don't care if the car was originally this color, just so long as it this color now. No other exterior colors acceptable unless car needs a full repaint and is priced accordingly.

Interior colors: medium saddle or dark saddle. NO BLACK interiors. Might consider dark red interior with the red car.

Luggage rack is a deal breaker, I HATE those things.

Original motor / trans not important. Must be an automatic trans car. Must have P/S, P/B, and A/C (all working). I have spent fortunes in the past getting A/C systems that "just needed a charge" to function properly. Modified P/S (Jeep unit, rack and pinion) is OK. Aftermarket A/C is also OK.

I am looking for a car that is "ready to go", or absolutely solid mechanically that I can just send to the painter (no real body work needed).

Everybody asks, "What is my budget". I don't have a budget, I have a desire for a nice 73 Corvette, and I will pay a fair price for one.

I am not in a hurry, and let me emphasize this again, I do not want a project car. I know myself, I will get out there and work on it, and cause more back injuries.

I am located in North Alabama area, so the closer the better, but I will travel for the right car. The "right car" has to be one that I can drive back from where ever it is now.
