FS Early 68 Convertible
For sale. Very early production 1968 Corvette convertible.
Here is whats been done and what it needs:
*350/425HP
4 bolt main block (spalyed block and caps)
Sumitt Stage II connecting rods
TRW flat top pistons
AFR 195 Aluminum heads 2.02/1.60 valves
Comp Cams solid lifter cam
.501/.510 lift
236/242 duration
Comp Cams Pro Magnum Roller Rockers
Edelbrock RPM Air Gap Intake
Demon 750 CFM carburetor mechanical secondaries
Mallory Comp 9000 Unilite distributor, Promaster coil, 6AL CD ignition box
*New Hooker Super Comp Ceramic coated Headers and side pipes
*Interior finished (looks orangish due to flo lights in garage) It is red
*COMPLETE front and rear suspension rebuild including $900 professional rebuild of the trailing arms. Ready for complete 4 wheel alignment but is set fairly close
*Both sets of wheels...stock 15's and TTII's and Tires with ZERO miles
*extra set of 68 seats
*Turbo 400 transmission with all new seals (but has a static leak in the pan or dip stick I haven't traced down)
*MarkVIII electric fan with controller
*Complete 4 wheel brake system replacement with new rotors and Lonestar calipers
*new battery
*There is absolutely no rot in the frame (birdcage or rear kickups)
*Top is decent with a couple small areas
*previous owner did a crap job on paint so will need a little work and decent paint job. (has bubbles on top of fenders)
*This is not a 68 you can paint and have an all original 68 show car. It has had several upgrades and changes as you can see in the pictures

Burning Brakes
You've done a lot of work to that car and you are asking a very reasonable price. I would say it won't last long especially with warmer weather just around the corner. Wish I could use another one.
