Default WTB 68-71, S. B., manual, at least 300hp, PW, PS, PB

I am looking for a Corvette preferably in the range of 1969-70, ideally 350HP S. B., manual tranny, power windows, power brakes, power steering. A coupe is better but I do not mind vert. I want to drive the car so the car body must look original with a good paint but it DOES NOT have to be a numbers matching car. Not preffered colours - yellow, gray, silver (white). A luggage rack is welcome. Budget, $13000?

New budget $18.000
New budget $20.000

I bought my C3 in California, shipping cost to harbour in europe was about 1500, incl. insurance

another 1500 for transportation to the harbour in L.A.; unloading and from Harbour in Europe to my home.

Customs payment will be about 6% of cars and shipping price together --- 1000,- if all works fine

I think you will need to be really lucky to find a good chrome bumper vette for that prize or you will have to do some work before driving it

Hi, it sounds about right, but all the upcharge is VAT. Price of the car, transport about $3000, duty is 10% and from all that that another 21% VAT. You did not have to pay VAT in your country when you brought your Vette home?

for such old cars as a C3 (historical car) you must not pay VAT

but has to be a mostly original car

That would be great but not in the Czech Republic, where I live. If you don't mind me asking, where do you live? Maybe that would be a way of getting the car to Europe...

Edit: found it in your profile...

Was the car brought to some harbour in Netherlands or did it ship to an Austrian harbour and the duty was paid here?

1st car arrived at Harbour Bremerhaven, was delivered to Austria and customs (10%) was payed in austria.

2nd car arrived at Harbour Rotterdam, 6% was payed there and delivered after that to Austria.

Doesnt matter where it arrives, paperwork has to be made in one country of EU (where you want to do it) after paying you get the permission to make the car streetlegal, if you dont pay you cant.

Max budget raised to 20.000 USD. When I find the car, everything is arranged for the transport. Any variations will be considered. Thanks
