WTB: 1974 T-Top L-82 4-Speed
Looking for my 1974 T-Top L82 4-Speed (I know a "needle in a haystack" but I have to try it was my 1st Corvette)
VIN: 1Z37T4S420983
I sold it in 1981 as a trade-in at Corvette's North in Waterville Maine.
It had originally the following options:
68 Dark Brown Exterior
416 Saddle Leather
L82 350 V8
M21 Close Ratio 4 Speed
N41 Power Steering
J50 Power Brakes
FE7 Gymkhana Suspension
VIN: 1Z37T4S420983

I had one exactly like that about 8 years ago - I checked my VIN and it wasn't it. That was the most enjoyable C3 I ever owned.
My old '71 LT-1 or '69 L46 should have had that honor, but that '74 was a nice, reliable runner.
Good luck in your search.

I have been looking for this car for a long time, my original 1974 L82 Coupe 4 speed VIN: 1Z37T4S420983. It was my first Corvette and my first car out of college. Anyone know of a service that might find or have databases of registered VIN's that would help me in my search?
Here is my last photo of it from 1980 when I took a trip to Rockport Maine:
I know, it is a needle in a haystack and it probably has been parted. That said, for over 10 years I check whole list of sites every couple of weeks and registered on C3 Registry too...
