Moved up to a dedicated track car
It isn't a Corvette, but I thought others would enjoy seeing it. I decided to get a dedicated track car and return my Corvette to full time street duty.
For the track I purchased a 2010 Radical SR3. The performance is amazing... It corners at 2.5 G's and brakes at 2.0 G's. I have only had it out on the track for one day so far...and that was in the rain. It is going to take me some time to learn to drive a down force car. I spent some time on the track with the European champion and he showed me what the car is capable of....amazing!

Drifting
Very cool! Does the front clip come off easy for putting on a trailer?

Well done! Couple of questions:
Is it the high or low downforce body?
Is it the light weigh body?
What engine?
How much for a passenger ride?
When are you getting it turboed / supercharged?
EDIT: and before people start calling me stupid, Radical themselves held the Nurburgring lap record in the mid 2000's with the SR3 turbo! Think it made around 350bhp (relatively low for the Haybusa).

This is the Fiberglas body, I think they also offer a carbon body... But at 1300 pounds, I am not too concerned with the weight.
It has the big engine.... 1500
Rides are free but there is a line
No plans to increase power at this time. There is also a v8 version of the car that can have 450 to 500 hp. But they cost about double. Also I spoke with several v8 owners and they recommended spending considerable time in the SR3 before moving up.

Charlie,
Congrats and you can tow that light thing with just about anything like a Porsche turbo cayenne. Do the SCCA superschool in march/April and get licensed. I think the Sr3 runs in the same class as dsr or csr but I know there is a class for them. SCCA is fun!

I am not sure yet. The first step is to get comfortable with the car and find out how fast I am.

Depending on the height of your trailer deck, there is a good chance that our 2-piece 114" long progressive incline ramp will work to get your car on the trailer. The initial incline is 2.6˚.

Yes the front and rear clips come off easily... But I'm not sure how much it will help getting it on the trailer. The car is currently stored at Spring Mountain while I figure out how I am going to move it. I am told that I need about 20' of ramp. Race ramps has long extensions that I will likely get.
