This car has many wins, in SCCA GTA, V8 StockCar and was the runner up to a V8 StockCar GTA championship with Tom Graham driving.

Purchased from Tom Graham by Squeak Kennedy in 2012. Squeak and son Bobby have raced this car to something like 12 GTA wins in the last 16 starts. The car runs near track record times nearly every time out.

Some more video of the Taurus shot from 2013 Trans Am 2 Champion Cameron Lawrence's ex ASA Impala during the first half of race two at Sebring in Feb. 2013. The Taurus led the GTA class until breaking a drive shaft about 1/2 through. The camera car (Lawrence's) still holds the GTA track record at Sebring. That car is now owned by professional racer/driver coach Chris Hall.

Woody at Bemco says he can re-body this with the Howe TA 2 Mustang body.

Body: about 5000 with lexan, splitter and shipping.

Labor: 2500 involves a couple cage changes, re-working some interior sheet metal, new air box, and mounting body

Interested. Showing some ignorance here, but what classes other than GTA can this car run in with simple changes? Will the TA2 body take it out of GTA?

It can run with the Mustang body in GTA, but must use a blade spoiler and the splitter has to go.

Can also run as SCCA SPO or Nasa SU

Could also run NASA TT1 or ST1 with ballast. New NASA rules allow tube frame with .4 hit to ratio for ST/TT 1,2 and 3.

With all of the ASA/GTA cars changing hands, I cannot believe this car has not sold.

If I hadn't bought mine before this was listed, it would be in my garage right now... Ford and all.
