Default Race Seat Harness Question

Hey Guys - I have a race seat installed in my Z06..OMP ARS with Planted Brackets custom modified by Dan from Vetteworks.

If I just keep the seat belt receptacle yellow connector plugged in (using Vetteworks airbag sim) but not plug in the grey/purple and black connectors – and not install the ****** grey box .. will this throw any codes? or errors? I hate the tangle mess of wiring and the two plastic boxes under the seat. I just want to keep it simple and only plug in the seat belt receptacle..

I don’t care about telescope function as my seat is hard mounted.

Cheers
Vivek

I don't use a sim plug (so I see the air bag light), but no errors, CEL, or anything.

Check out this post I did about airbag simulators....it shows an easy way to handle the drivers side.

My question is what happens if I only plug in the yellow connector and leave the other two (black and purple) connectors unplugged. I have a fixed race seat with no slider so I don't care about the telescoping steering.

The air bag light will be on and the air bag will not function. Also the telescoping wheel will not function. If you are not going to use all three simulators you may as we'll not use any. If you want the air bag to operate you need all three.... If you don't care if it operates, you don't need simulators.
