Default Formula One Japan - TV Schedule

Formula One - JAPAN Schedule on NBC Sports Network
====================================

MIGHTY SUZUKA!!
1. THE TIMES FOR THIS RACE ARE DIFFERENT, SO PAY ATTENTION!

2. THERE ARE THREE SHOWINGS OF THE RACE THIS SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY

3. ALL OF THE BROADCASTS ARE ON NBC SPORTSNET

4. The PRE-RACE shows are scheduled separately this week!!!
xxxIf you want to see them you'll need to record them separately!!

The post-race show "F1 Extra" is shown immediately after the race
show whatever time that may be. the simplest way to make sure you
record it is to simply add enough extra time to the race broadcast recording to
get (a) any extra time that was needed to record the entire race
including any delays, and (b) "F1 Extra". My standard is to
add at least three hours (!) just to make sure I cover most eventualities.

I pull this info from from my Tivo's schedule. I have no guarantee that
it is correct but it usually is. I also double check it with the NBC Sports
NET schedule, too.

Have to agree there

I don't ever want someone to get hurt but, who was it that said "Great turns (or was it tracks) have consequences"

Precisely what the NBCSN guys were talking about during practice re: Suzuka. The drivers all love that there are consequences that come from mistakes.

Eau Rouge is now a borderline fraud. The track (and the racing media) still tout "the scariest, most awesome corner in all of racing" while the drivers say (quietly) that they can now do it one-handed.

The Lesmo corners I can understand, it was an issue of no runoff space *at all* and the rules of the place meant that there would be very little runoff even with the mods that they *could* make. So they had to slow things down. I remember some BIG offs there back in the days of ground effects "skirts" on the cars.
