Default Need info/help on TSW rims/sensors?

I have just bought a 2004 Vette with TSW wheels and tires that had the band style TPMS sensors installed but the previous owner didn't get them working. So my question is there a comon place where these senors are usually mount in the rim? I tried around the valve stem with a magnet but with no luck. Anyone else have these and are working?

The wheels are TSW Nurgurgring RF 18 x 9 and 19 x 10.5 gunmetal with the mirror cut face. The invoice I got doesn't identify which sensors they used but the previous owner who ordered them told me they were the band type. I tried talking with the vendor, Double D Mods, but they sub it out and they couldn't help me.

I think there are different sensors for 97-00 & 01-04.

Not sure on that but these wheels were ordered for this car so one would assume that the right sensors were installed, I'm hoping!

Just got back from the tire shop where they thought they could learn my TPMS. In the end they said that their sensor reader could see the sensors but couldn't get the GM TPMS to see the sensors. Actual told me that the TPMS computer was defective????
It works fine with the stock rims and sensors.
Any ideas out there??
