Default Awd c6r?

Did anyone else notice Magnussen's AWD C6R at the ALMS race in Canada this weekend?

Watch the front left wheel spin up and throw dirt backward at 41 seconds.

I noticed that! I watched the race on ESPN3 replay yesterday. I thought I saw what I thought I saw, but I thought there's no way I saw what I thought I saw.

that's just residual momentum from a wheel that was spinning and a car that stopped abruptly

I agree. The wheel appears to stop, but my guess is thats an artifact of the camera frames matching up with the wheel motion for just a split second.

it sure looks like a AWD to me. I have never seen a residual momentum completely stop then throw a rooster tail like that.

except that every single team would be all over it if the championship winning team had some magical AWD system that they weren't supposed to have.
