Correct.

Edit: I apologize and stand corrected. Last year WAS the first year for paving all the way to the top. 2012 was a strange year with the entire race being postponed until August due to the fires and then the racers later in the day having a shortened course due to bad weather (freezing rain & snow) on the top of the course.

This goes well with the thread on hillclimbs. He shattered the record here.

As David Hobbs would say...VERY large attachments.

Killer ride with the onboard.

But, why are people around the world so as to sit on the outside of a corner so that if there were some foul up they were sure to get creamed by the car?

Inside start of the curve = yes.

Outside mid to end of curve = Hell NO!

I guess there are idiots everywhere...the WRC isn't the only place where people want to tempt fate.

Thats what I kept thinking; if someone f_cks up there might not be another pphc or no more open class...

Did you see the in car footage at the beginning as he came around the corner and some ****tard in black was running across the road?

He needs to be run over and removed from the gene pool.

I think alot has to be said for the car as well! They really came to this event witha weapon that worked from the off! No messing about just get there get t done and come home with the trophy. The machine they used is basically what a groupe b rally car would be today. Amazing engineering with fully intergrated traction control (hence no massive sideways moments).
