Default how long is enough for an aluminum hat?

How many seasons/sessions/track days, until you finally throw out your aluminun hats and replace them? Mine are about 4 years old now and wondered if its time to give them up and just replace the entire 2 piece rotor rather than just the ring itself. The rings need to be replaced very soon but dont know if I need to start fresh with new hats and rings or if replacing rings on 4 year old hats are ok?

Any thoughts?

What if you just checked for cracks and runout? I can't imagine what else there'd be.

May not be a bad idea to NDI ultrasonic inspect the holes and edges after a bunch of heat cycles.
Hats should last a long long time if holes are properly chamfered and there has not been alot of fretting from floating bolts.
